The Kamoshika Collective.

The Kamoshika Collective.
We design bespoke ski and snowboard trips in Japan with one goal in mind: maximizing your time riding deep, untracked powder in the snowiest region on earth.
Our expertise lies in the hidden gems - quiet resorts, secret zones, and knowing exactly where to go based on real-time snow conditions. By venturing beyond the typical tourist hotspots, we create trips that combine exceptional skiing with authentic cultural immersion, allowing groups to experience the core of what makes skiing in Japan so special.
Tell us a bit about your crew, ability level, and what your ideal ski day looks like. From there, one of our trip guides will reach out to confirm your dates, budget, and preferences before crafting a personalized itinerary tailored specifically to you.

'The Kamoshika, a national symbol of Japan, is a goat-antelope (Serow) native to the snowy mountains of Japan. To chase pow like a Kamoshika is to move with quiet confidence: sure-footed on icy ridges, unbothered by storms, and thriving where conditions scare everyone else away. Sharing a run with a Kamoshika in the backcountry is said to bring good luck and more powder to those that are fortunate enough to do so.'
Where We Ski
Your trip will start with a 1hr 30min bullet train ride from Tokyo to Iiyama. From Iiyama, we have access to 30 different ski resorts within an hour drive. We either base your trip in a central location and drive short distances each morning to chase pow, or set you up right at the base of a resort (or multiple resorts throughout your trip) for easy ski access.
